The New Economic Rights Alliance, or NewERA, is a community of people seeking transparency across the banking and corporate sector in South Africa. They are working tirelessly in securing the financial rights of the public by filing a lawsuit against the four major banks of South Africa as well as the reserve bank. NewERA is for the rights of the people, and driven by the people, and they need your support in taking on the behemoth banks and corporations that are dictating the way your money is used. There are numerous ways to support NewERA, whether it is by signing a petition, responding to a questionnaire, joining the case, attending a demonstration, or becoming a paying member that contributes to the running costs of the movement.

Due to the amount of public support they have received, they are hoping to expand the amount of members that are taking part in the lawsuit against the banks, and require interested people to become members before the fifth of September, when they go to court.
