Busy Bee Apiaries is presenting their ever-popular beekeeping course this winter. The same course will be running at two venues.
One will be presented at the Durbanville town library hall. It will run over the inclusive weekdays 2-6 July 2012.
The second venue will be at the ELSENBURG AGRICULTURE, FET Lecture Theatres, Muldersvlei. It will run over four Saturdays during May (12 and 19 and 26) and June (9).
The course is comprehensive and includes an open day at a beekeeper’s venue (dates to be announced).
Subjects are grouped per day and include all aspects of bee biology, a small business management component and two days of beekeeping theory and practice.
Booking is essential. The registration fee will be payable in advance and includes light lunches, refreshments and all course material, including books and stationary.
Anyone over 14 years old may attend.
