Hemp is an incredibly versatile crop, with a
long history of human use, and can be used for everything from bricks to
blankets, from fuel to furry slippers. With 50 000 documented uses it is the super
plant of all super plants and it can change the face of the South African economy,
and our society as a whole.
It can't get you high, but it can get you clothes, shelter, nourishment, natural
plastics, fuel, medicine, beauty products, and more. Yet despite the potential of the
crop, as illustrated by 27 countries growing it around the world, the South African
government is still dragging its feet about legalising the wonder crop.
Hempnow is a South African movement to legalise the hemp industry in South Africa, and they need your support. This is not only for hippies and layabouts, this is not about drugs, this is not a conspiracy. This is about supporting a cause that will influence the future our country in a world destined for drastic change.
So, with a few simple clicks,
