Craving you coffee fix every day, but wanting to cut down on your caffeine intake? Try this perfect summer drink that has a dark chocolatey flavour and a zippy caffeine-like boost.
Makes 3-4 glasses
½ cup cashew nut butter
1/8 cup maple syrup
1/8 cup agave
1 teaspoon Siberian ginseng
½ table spoon astragalus
½ table spoon taheebo
1 table spoon foti
3 cups of ice
¼ cups of cacao powder
1 cup water
Place the nut butter, maple and agave into a power blender. Add the herbs, ice, cacao powder and water. Blend in a blender. You should get a thick icy textured drink that you can eat with a spoon. Sprinkle with cacao nibs.
