Natural & Organic product exhibition partners with Life in Balance

Life in Balance’s underlying principle is : Redefine your thinking – One person can make a difference and the editorial addresses an expanding market of conscious consumers, sensitive to what they purchase and which media they trust for their information. Their consumer power can impact positively on the products and services they support and likewise send strong messages of non take –up for those they don’t.

The number of visitors to the Natural and Organic show has grown from 3000, when it first opened its doors seven years ago, to a massive 26 000 visitors recorded in 2009. This shows a ground swell of interest from people interested in what is natural and organic. Products created with a respect for the earth and for the people who consume them are very interesting right now. We are on the right track to creating a culture of ethical consumerism and of making lifestyle choices that minimise our impact on the earth.

Without doubt the growing consciousness of consumers in understanding the products they are being sold is becoming something big brands need to pay attention to. As consumers we want to have choices that enable us to feel good about the products and services we engage with and to do this we need information that is truthfully reported and can act as a guide to uncover the ream of green wash tape that can cloud the issues. We want to be part of a movement that contributes to an authentic world and where ethical practises determine the success of a venture – not the other way around.

Cape Town show dates are 19th-21st February 2010 and Gauteng dates are 27th – 29th August 2010
