Join the GreenPop treevolution – a simple yet brilliant concept to celebrate Arbor Day in a big way. Capetonians are being asked to be even more treemendous than they already are and get involved in planting trees in and around their beautiful city.

Here’s how it works:
Twenty community based projects and underprivileged schools around the Western Cape have been chosen because of the need for greening their enivirons. Leaders from each of these projects were very keen to have their spaces greened and have agreed work with GreenPop and maintain the trees that are planted in their areas. The trees will be contributed by anyone and everyone who wants to help – individuals, families, groups of friends and corporate entities can make their green mark by buying trees for those areas in need of some beautreefying.

When you or your company buys one or perhaps a truckload of trees, your contributions will be recognised through a digital certificate (no paper, of course) that lays out the GPS coordinates of where your trees will be planted as well as details about the community that will benefit from the greening. And for those who are a little more hands on, we will also invite treerific buyers to come and plant their own trees.

So get greening and buy your trees on www.greenpop.org
